Add the license server to Teklynx Label Matrix
This will need to be done for each user that logs in.
1. Select Start.
2. Click on the TEKLYNX LABEL MATRIX 2014 folder to expand.
3. Open the Network Administration program.
In the Network Administration windows,
1. Check the box next to Network Key.
2. Type in \\NC-LICENSE into the box.
3. Select OK.
Setting up the Printer
1. Select Start.
2. Click on the TEKLYNX LABEL MATRIX 2014 folder to expand.
3. Open the Label Matrix 2014 Program.
NOTE: If there is a popup that says there is no default printer or it is asking to set up a specific printer, close out of Label Matrix and reopen it. It will go away,
PLEASE MINIMIZE THE AMOUNT OF TIME YOU HAVE LABEL MATRIX OPEN. IT USES A NETWORK LICENSE AND WILL CAUSE PEOPLE TO NOT BE ABLE TO PRINT IF YOU LEAVE IT OPEN.
1. Select find an existing label.
2. Select OK.
1. Click on the drop down arrow and select Local disk (C:).
2. in Local disk (C:) open the folder CPLabels.
3. Click open.
Select the label that you need.
This will need to be done to each type of label that you will be printing.
For material handlers select the fginv.qdf label.
Once you have selected a label click open.
Once you click open you will see 2 pop up messages.
1. For the first pop up click no.
2. for the second pop up click OK.
When the label opens,
1. Select File
2. Select Label Properties.
In the window that opens,
1. Select the Printer tab.
2. Select specific printer and select the label printer from the dropdown that you will be printing from. It will be listed as ZM400, ZDesigner, Zebra, or something similar. This will need to be done with each specific label that you will be printing.
3. Select OK.
After setting up the label properties,
1. Select file
2. Select Printer setup....
In the open window,
1. Click on the same printer that you selected in the previous step.
2. Press OK.
1. Select File
2. Select Save
Then close out of Label Matrix.
