If you are not able to join a Microsoft teams meeting through outlook or set up a teams meeting through outlook, do the following steps.
1. Close out of outlook.
2. In the bottom right corner of the screen.
2.1. Click on the carrot button on the bottom right.
2.2 Right click on Microsoft teams.
2.3 Select quit.
3. Once you have quit teams and closed out of outlook, open Microsoft teams first then Microsoft outlook second.
This should fix the problem and allow you to set up teams meetings as well as join teams meetings through Microsoft outlook.
